Overview
What we do
Join a lean team of 30 people around the world, dedicated to making buying, selling, and moving crypto easier.
Swapped.com is here to make being on-chain easier.
Our products are live with heavy hitters like Polymarket, Trust Wallet, Brave Browser, and many others to make crypto simpler. We have onboarded 2M+ users across 150+ countries to Web3 and handle 100s of thousands of transactions per month.
The Role
Swapped is building a durable U.S. regulatory and financial infrastructure to support long-term scale. We are hiring a U.S. Operations Manager to own that buildout.
This role is responsible for executing and strengthening our U.S. Money Transmitter License footprint, managing direct engagement with state regulators, and designing the banking and payments architecture that underpins our non-custodial on- and off-ramp model.
You will sit at the center of licensing, banking, and partner infrastructure. You will work directly with state regulators, sponsor banks, PSPs, liquidity providers, and custodians.
This is not a support role. This is a build role.
You will be accountable for ensuring Swapped’s U.S. expansion is structurally sound, regulator-ready, and capable of supporting meaningful transaction growth.
What You’ll Own
You will execute Swapped.com's U.S. regulatory and financial infrastructure. This includes end-to-end ownership of our Money Transmitter License strategy across all states, direct management of regulator relationships, and full accountability for the banking and payments architecture that supports our non-custodial on- and off-ramp model.
You will lead all MTL applications and ongoing state engagement through NMLS, manage examiner interactions, respond to deficiencies, and ensure ongoing compliance with state-level net worth, bonding, reporting, and permissible investment requirements. You will anticipate regulatory objections before they arise and structure our operating model accordingly.
You will design and maintain the U.S. banking stack, including FBO and settlement accounts, ACH and wire rails, card processing relationships, and liquidity pathways. You will work directly with partner banks, PSPs, liquidity providers, and custodians to ensure our fund flows are defensible, scalable, and aligned with state and federal expectations.
You will ensure that capital planning, bonding coverage, and liquidity positioning support both regulatory requirements and transaction growth. You will prepare the company for state exams, banking due diligence, and partner audits.
You will operate in parallel with the MLRO. The MLRO owns BSA/AML, financial crimes monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting. You own licensing, infrastructure, and the structural integrity of our U.S. operations.
This role carries direct responsibility for the durability and scalability of Swapped.com's U.S. footprint.
