This policy explains how Hired3 uses cookies and similar storage to keep the site functional, remember preferences, and measure performance. We do not use advertising cookies.
Cookies we set
- access_token (essential): httpOnly session cookie used to authenticate signed in users. Expires after about 15 minutes.
- cookie_consent (preference): stores your consent choice (accepted or rejected) for about 2 years.
- newsletter_banner (preference): remembers when you dismiss the newsletter banner for about 60 days.
Local storage and session storage
We also use browser storage to improve the experience. These items are not cookies, but you can clear them in your browser settings.
- Preferences: alert and sharing settings, plus default filters for job searches and posting.
- Views and UI state: list view choices and role intent.
- Drafts and checkout flow: job post drafts, selected plans, and pending checkout session identifiers stored in session storage.
- Caching: short lived caches used to speed up loading of jobs, companies, and market data.
Analytics and performance
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand page performance and overall usage patterns. These tools help us diagnose slow pages and improve reliability.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies and storage in your browser settings. If you disable essential cookies, sign in and application tracking may not work.
EEA/UK consent
Where required by law, we ask for consent before enabling non essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookie_consent item and refreshing the page.
Retention
Session storage clears when you close your browser. Cookies and local storage persist until they expire or you delete them.
